My favorite memory is my mom and I picking blackberries and making so many pies. She was the best cook and taught me so many wonderful things. As a grandmother I love doing creative things with the grandkids. My grandkids say that they love coming because I don't mind them making big messes and that I have so many supplies so they can do projects. My granddaughter just had her first sewing lesson. She was so excited. to make something.
ReplyDeleteAs a step-mom, one day I was making lunch and I asked my young step son if he would like a sandwich. He said he wasn't all that hungry. So I replied, would you like me to make you a half a sandwich. His reply was "What are you going to do with the other half?" He was dead serious and we all got a giggle from that.
