  1. My favorite Valentines memory: My dad was not a very "emotional" individual but growing up, each year he gave each of us a small chocolate heart valentine that was so, so special.

  2. My favorite memories are as a child and exchanging Valentine's with my classmates. It was so much fun to read them when I got home from school, Sure wish I still had them as I love vintage Valentine's today.

  3. Before we were married and I had started dating my husband, we had a snowstorm on our first Valentine’s Day. We were both at work. I left as soon as it started snowing so I could get home. I lived with my parents. My future husband came to my house instead of going to his house. When I asked him why, he said he didn’t want to miss our first Valentine’s Day together. So he got snowed in at my parents house.

    1. This wasn’t supposed to be Country Road Quilters. It was supposed to be Cathy W.

  4. Valentines Day is my favorite holiday! I can remember, many moons ago, how I always looked forward to the day we made our Valentine box in elementary school! I always wondered what kind of valentine I would get from my friends, especially certain ones, if you know what I mean. I kept them for years; and they would bring back many happy memories. I always get flowers from my husband! I guess I’m just a romantic at heart,

  5. When my husband and I were first dating he prepared a surprise picnic for Valentines day. He had made a Cesar salad and bought French bread and wine. It was a beautiful day. We went to a nearby park and spent hours eating lunch, talking, enjoying each others company and the day.

  6. My favorite Valentine's Day memory is getting construction paper and decorating it with hearts that were colored with pink, red and purple crayons and glued to the construction paper. After decorated, we would then assemble our "mailboxes" by stapling the two pieces of construction paper to form a pocket. The anticipation of the arrival of the valentine's was exciting! Oh the memories of grade school!
