HALLOWEEN BASH Day 3

It's Day 3 and the Party is just getting Started!

Our Daily Dastardly Draw WINNER is Eileen Latuperissa! Congratulations! Please email us your mailing address to 1894cottonwoodhouse@gmail.com and we will send you your Prize... Our NEW Trick or Treat Pattern!

Today's Recipe is Homemade Apple Cider!

Many years ago we owned a small store in Minnesota called Liberty Gardens. Each year we would have a Halloween Bash! At our Bash we would serve our Homemade Apple Cider. Everyone would Rant and Rave about how much they LOVED it, and more times than not, our 8 children would drink it ALL before it even got around to our Customers! We thought it would be fitting to share our recipe on our Halloween Blog Bash!

Homemade Apple Cider

*10 Apples, Quartered
*3/4 Cup White Sugar
*1 TBS Ground Cinnamon
*1 TBS Ground Allspice

1. Place Apples in a large stockpot, and add enough water to cover by at least 2 inches. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, and allspice.
Bring to a boil. Boil, covered, for 1 hour. Cover pot, reduce heat, and simmer for 2 hours.
(If you have a Juicer it will make this process so easy, and FASTER!)

2.Strain apple mixture through a fine mesh sieve. Discard solids. Drain cider again through a cheesecloth lined sieve. Refrigerate until cold.

Your Home will Smell Heavenly!
